“I’ve been to a lot of storytelling up and down the country and this is as good as it gets" Ronald Hutton
We are a company of performance storytellers who have worked together since 2000. We have staged the ecobardic storytelling epics Arthur’s Dream, Robin of the Wildwood, and Return to Arcadia and pioneering compilations of history, myth, and intercultural encounter, such as Voices from the Past, Vanished Voices, Tales from the Saxon Shore and Pilgrims of Love. We also run workshops in storytelling and creative writing for individuals and groups and provide various creative and narrative consultancy services to organisations.
Individually, and as a team, company members have performed and led creative workshops in many different settings - from theatres, schools, and community contexts to festivals, woodlands and open fields. We believe that oral storytelling practice has wide application in life and that, as well as being performance art and entertainment, it can foster transformation in people and make a beneficial impact in areas such as education, psychological wellbeing, and personal and professional development.
Based in South West England, company members have worked across Britain and abroad - in the USA, Greece, Malta, Egypt, Finland and Switzerland.
